I friend told me this weekend about the N or Nickelodeon not airing shows all day encouraging children to go outside and play.
I want to look into it more, but while I was searching for that I found this:

I don’t have time to explore it all tonight, but thought this would be the perfect place to leave it.
Here it is! It’s an annual event: Worldwide Day of Play.
Nickelodeon turns off it’s programming for a few hours and encourages folks to go out and play.

My favorite is that it gives you a list of supplies you may want to “shop for” and signage (despite the quality) for your event!
