Sitting in traffic = new expierences

Summer time means construction in the city of Morgantown. While sitting in traffic in Westover, I read this sign:

Never noticed before, this sign in Westover is actually for a funeral home... not a trendy 80's hair salon as I had always presumed.

"Fore Thought, Funeral Planning... Before the Need Arises. Make it easier For Those You Love."

I have lived here now for 7 years, and had always assumed that this was a sign left over from the 80’s for a hair salon. I am still assuming the sign is left over from the late 80’s and 90’s, but think it’s time for for an update.  The truth is that most stylized fonts we associate with certain trends and time periods. Reading the words it dawned on me, “Of course! fore thought! thinking ahead! funeral planning!” but… this is a sign that one drives by going 35mph (in a turn), and message gets lost. Truth is I never had the chance to read all of the text, so I just made the assumption it was an out of date sign for a salon or nail place… assuming that the name of the salon was suggesting it was ahead of the times and up on all the latest styles.
